Since regular milk tends to spoil quickly in the office, and I don't use it frequently, these packs with a long shelf life serve as a great alternative for the occasional coffee at work. The taste is quite good, resembling milk closely enough to make it a worthwhile choice. In general, it's a pleasant milk substitute and seems like it would be ideal for travel. These packs will be a perfect on-hand option for when my friend visits, given their inability to have cow's milk, which is typically all I have in the fridge. Being shelf-stable and readily available, I'll feel well-prepared for any occasion! After trying one, I found it dissolved easily, but it lacks the creaminess I personally prefer (accustomed to half & half in my coffee). Review: Great product! - I had the opportunity to try out this product and was excited at the concept. I am someone who struggles with bloating and stomach issues when it comes to dairy so finding an alternative to milk for coffee or any beverage that calls for milk seemed extremely enticing. Overall I loved how easy the product is to use, very convenient if you're traveling or on the go as well! The flavor itself is not bad but it's also not very potent, obviously traditional creamer has more flavor but knowing that this may lack a little bit with flavor but not hurt my stomach makes up for it! ## Features - MILK, MINUS THE CARTON: One scoop and a quick stir gives you a fresh, creamy drink in seconds. Each 1.42 lb pouch makes up to 8 quarts, about 32 servings, so you mix only what you need, when you need it. - JUST ONE INGREDIENT: Organic, glyphosate-free oats, and that's the whole list. No gums, no additives and 0g added sugars, with 2g of plant protein in every 20g serving. - NO BLENDER, NO FUSS: Stir 1 to 2 tablespoons into hot coffee, tea or water for 20 seconds or more. It works best in hot liquid, so your morning cup comes together with just a spoon. - ONE SCOOP WONDER: Make it as rich or as light as you like by adding more or less. Add it to coffee and tea, toss it into smoothies, or mix in a sweetener or a pinch of spice to make it your own. - PANTRY-FRIENDLY BAG: Keep it somewhere cool and dark, even after opening, with no refrigeration needed. Once mixed, it keeps in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days. Packaging made with post-consumer recycled plastic. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BQ8Z6MGV | | Age Range Description | All Ages | | Allergen Information | Egg may contain, Milk may contain, Oats, Tree nuts may contain, Wheat may contain | | Best Sellers Rank | #41,807 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ) #42 in Oat Milks | | Brand | JOI | | Brand Name | JOI | | Container Type | Pouch | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 413 Reviews | | Diet Type | Plant Based, Vegan, Vegetarian | | Each Unit Count | 22.72 | | Flavor | Organic Oat | | Item Form | Powder | | Item Highlight | Just Organic Oats, Glyphosate-Free, 0g Added Sugars, No Gums or Additives, Vegan, Dairy-Free, Shelf-Stable | | Item Package Weight | 0.68 kg | | Item Volume | 8 quarts | | Item Weight | 1.4 pounds | | Liquid Contents Description | No | | Manufacturer | Joi | | Number of Items | 1 | | Package Size Name | 22.72 Ounce (Pack of 1) | | Part Number | IOJ00878 | | Product Shelf Life | 15 days | | Source Plant | Oat | | Specialty | Additive Free, Certified Organic, Dairy Free, No Added Sugar, Shelf Stable | | Sweetness Description | mildly sweet | | UPC | 858098008787 | | Unit Count | 22.72 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Allergen Information:** Dairy Free, Nut Free - **Brand:** JOI - **Flavor:** Organic Oats - **Item Form:** Powder - **Unit Count:** 22.72 Ounce ## Images ![JOI Instant Organic Soy Milk Powder with 9g Protein, Makes 6 Quarts - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Pd4PjAMdL.jpg) ![JOI Instant Organic Soy Milk Powder with 9g Protein, Makes 6 Quarts - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71QBgB4ednL.jpg) ![JOI Instant Organic Soy Milk Powder with 9g Protein, Makes 6 Quarts - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71rxUCtINTL.jpg) ![JOI Instant Organic Soy Milk Powder with 9g Protein, Makes 6 Quarts - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Rk25+SauL.jpg) ![JOI Instant Organic Soy Milk Powder with 9g Protein, Makes 6 Quarts - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91YpzLaGcBL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Flavor** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: This powder is noticeably sweet, although supposedly made only from oats. But plain oatmeal is not sweet at all. Can someone explain this anomoly?** A: Hello! There is no added sugar in JOI's Oat Milk Powder. The natural sweetness is created during the production process, which breaks down the starches in the oats. **Q: How much oat powder and water does it take to make one quart of oat milk?** A: Hello! When making 1 quart of milk, we suggest adding 8 tbsp of oat milk to 4 cups of water; however one of the great things about JOI is the versatility. If you'd like to add more you can, if you're satisfied with less then that works too. You control the final product! **Q: Do you sell it in individual package for traveling?** A: Hi! Currently, that is not available but we're planning to launch a stick pack size in the coming months. That should work great for you so stay tuned! **Q: What is the Country of origin for Joi organic oat milk powder** A: Hello! Our oats are sourced from within the United States and Canada. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love these *by Y***A on December 14, 2023* I find these oat milk packs incredibly convenient. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a great, clean alternative to powdered milk (including plant based) *by L***L on July 3, 2024* I liked using this product in my coffees but I found that its better to use a frother and to get a more concentrated "milky" like taste and look, use half of the water recommended. I haven't mastered the best way to improve the flavor profile and consistency yet but it's a clean product (you can read and easily decipher the ingredients) and I plan to use it in my smoothies, moving forward. I feel like it'd be a good way to utilize the item as well. For people looking for no sugar, who aren't particular about taste, like... if you like rice milk, it might be a great alternative or option for you. ## Frequently Bought Together - Instant Organic Oat Milk Powder Pouch by JOI - Makes 8 Quarts - Vegan, Kosher, Shelf-Stable, and Gluten-Free - Use for Coffee Creamer, Add to Smoothies & Tea or Make Your Own Oat Milk - Oat Milk Coffee Creamer, Sweetened 10ct Carton by JOI - Superfood, Vegan, Dairy Free, Plant Based, Kosher, Shelf-Stable, Barista, Fortified with Calcium.
