Review: Works - At the first sight of red mites in my chicken coop I gave the chickens a light spray as the cane or of the coop and sprayed inside the coop,a week later there's no sign of red mite, the chickens feathers look shiner and the coop smells nice too,I was recommended this product by a fellow chicken keeper,he has been using it for about two years and swears by it, used weekly I think it would easily last a good six months,very happy with my purchase and will buy again when needed
Review: It really works - Genuinely recommend this product. Had an outbreak of chicken lice during the warm weather and before you know it there everywhere. This spray is really effective whilst being natural and having a citronella smell. I've used the powers before and that wasn't seeming to do the job this time. Ordering again for future.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: would this kill lice as well as mites, thank you**
A: I did not find it very effective  I am afraid. I used Ivermectin in the end to get rid of  Northern Mite.

**Q: Would this work on depluming mites? Also can it be used preventatively?**
A: I don't know about depluming mites, but I spray the hut when its cleaned out, I also spray their bedding and directly onto the birds, and this seems to work.

**Q: Can this be used in a bird aviary? Canarys/goldfinches**
A: As far as I know it can be used on all things bird, if that makes sense!

**Q: Will this work against leg mites?? If not what will?**
A: Buy some cheap vaseline off of here, cover legs and combs with it for 5 days and I've found that clears them up. You could wash the perches down on each day too, if you wanted.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for treating mites on chickens not great for the coop

Great for treating mites on chickens but not effective at dealing with mites in the coop. Treat the girls after noticing mites in their feathers. After one treatment the majority of mites had gone with some remaining on the chicks with denser feathers. A second treatment for all of them cleared the remainder of mites. Pleasant citronella smell & it didn’t seem to irritate the chickens. Reduced by 1 star as it did not make any difference to the red mites in the coop despite treating it almost daily. Had to resort to buying smite for the coop which did work to treat the red mites but that cannot be used on the birds.
