It's fun to use carefresh colors to create a theme in the cage, color coordinate with your room or liven up your pet's living space. Use as the sole bedding in the pet enclosure or make fun, colorful corners for your pet to nest and burrow in. Carefresh colors is dyed using the same materials used in homes around the world for over 40 years. Under normal conditions the colors won't bleed so pets, cages and clothing should not be stained. Under certain conditions cotton fabrics may be discolored if exposed to wet bedding. The colors are non-toxic to you and your pet. Carefresh colors suppress ammonia formation twice as long as wood shavings or corn cob bedding, just like original carefresh and carefresh ultra. Your home and your pet's living quarters stay fresher smelling longer. ## Features - Cleaner, more cozy, more comfortable environment - Biodegradable, flushable (in small quantities) - Contains no pine or cedar oils - It appears that this item when compressed is 25.7 liters but when it expands, it becomes 50 liter ## Images ![Absorption Corp Carefresh Pet Bedding, Confetti, 25.7-Liter - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81I94Qo+MxL.jpg) ![Absorption Corp Carefresh Pet Bedding, Confetti, 25.7-Liter - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51vnGsooXDL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The BEST *by K***2 on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on July 19, 2011* This is by far the best rabbit bedding I have found. I have spent years trying to find a better bedding that would absorb the wet as well as the smell! With this bedding I only have to completely clean my rabbits' cages once a week (with at least one spot cleaning in between) rather than 2-3 times a week with other beddings. I love that this bedding doesn't get all over the floor like cedar shavings and other beddings do. In my opinion the colored versions of this bedding seem to absorb the smell better than the uncolored version - I am not sure if this is a psychological color preference but I have tried the uncolored version several times and I come to the same conclusion. I can now spend more time playing with my rabbits and less time cleaning up after them. Someone noted that there was a lot of lint with this bedding but I have not noticed this. This bedding seems to have less lint than some of the other brands I have tried. If you have very messy rabbits, this bedding is for you! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for tiny hamsters *by E***N on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on April 3, 2013* This is my favorite kind of litter for my Chinese dwarf hamster. I used to use the brown kind, but after not being able to find her amongst the litter, I opted to try the confetti kind. It's much easier to see her in the cage, and also makes the cage look brighter and cleaner. The litter seems to absorb odors and droppings/urine well, and does not need changing too often. I have seen some people noting that there is a lot of dust and it bothered their hamsters, but I have not had that experience. Even when cleaning the cage, only a very fine layer of whitish dust is left on the plastic once the litter is emptied. My hamster does not have any problems with the litter. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Carefresh confetti hamster bedding *by T***I on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on January 30, 2010* This product is nice and comfy for our hammies BUT, it has so much lint that flies in the air that the cage and tubes are covered with tiny fibers. My tv next to the cage is covered in dust all the time from this bedding. The hamsters love it though, it must be comfy. I also worry because they love stuffing it in the mouth and re-aranging their cages and I feel like they will be swallowing too much of the dust particles. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/5027474-absorption-corp-carefresh-pet-bedding-confetti-25-7-liter](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/5027474-absorption-corp-carefresh-pet-bedding-confetti-25-7-liter) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
