This stand has made a huge difference.The first thing you notice is how solid it feels. It's made from a heavy aluminum alloy, and it's got a nice weight to it. You can tell it's not going to tip over easily. It has a nice matte black finish, and it just looks really good and clean on the desk. You get a little screw to adjust the width, which is super easy to do. It says it fits laptops from 0.47 to 1 inch thick, and I was able to get my MacBook Air to fit perfectly with no trouble at all.
