The company formed in 2013, and every product since is built by contractors. **Q: How do your products stop metal theft?** A: By securing the opening at the point where thieves access the wire or metal. We lock down handholes, junction boxes, and downspout outlets, the most common attack points. If the opening is secured, the theft cannot occur. **Q: Do these really work, or will thieves keep trying?** A: Our first locking cover was installed at Sundance Park in 2010. Sixteen years later, it's still in place with zero repeat theft. Thieves test it, realize they cannot remove it, and move on. Plastic nozzles have no scrap value, removing the incentive. **Q: Are these products difficult to install?** A: No. Every product is designed for the field: no complicated steps, no guesswork, no special tools required. Installation is fast, so crews can secure multiple locations on a site without slowing down the project. **Q: Who uses End Metal Theft products?** A: City managers, public works departments, utilities, contractors, and maintenance crews across the country. Schools, parks, and commercial properties use them to stop repeat theft, from a single problem location to city-wide coverage. ## Frequently Bought Together - End Metal Theft Plastic Downspout Nozzle and Parapet Overflow - Replace Brass Copper Downspout Nozzles and Protect Your Property From Metal Theft (No integral PVC insert needed) (2-inch), Bronze - Bird Screen for Downspout Nozzle (2-inch Birdscreen) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/502642164-2-plastic-downspout-nozzle-anti-theft-roof-drain-and-retaining](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/502642164-2-plastic-downspout-nozzle-anti-theft-roof-drain-and-retaining) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
