Even with the poor-quality ink that came with the quill, it still absorbed it well without any spread or feathering so the paper made up for the deficit in the ink quality. We highly recommend this paper for letters you write professionally for/to clients, or personally for friends and family. My wife and I love them. And it's a good price for the number of pages that come in the package. I rated the thickness but not "adhesion" or "sheerness" as those terms don't apply to this product. Despite the aged look, the paper is actually quite smooth so there is no interruption in writing be it with pen, marker, pencil, or something finer such as a quill nib. We'll definitely be buying more in the future! Review: Stunning With The Right Ink - This paper is stunning, but I did struggle a bit to see what fountain pen ink was compatible with it. I have both the Waterman Noir Intense Black Ink and the Platinum Carbon Ink, and the Waterman writes too dry on this paper and skips, making it a really unpleasant experience, but the Platinum Carbon writes like a dream on this paper with no bleed, ghosting, or feathering. Absolutely stunning. I’m pretty sure for this type of paper, you’ll need an ink type that has enough pigmentation to stick to it, otherwise it’s quite dry to write on for more water based inks. I definitely would recommend if you use Platinum Carbon Ink or have inks that has more pigment in them. ## Features - Elegant Vintage Design: The Sustainable Greetings stationery paper features a captivating antique design with filigreed corners and a blank back, perfect for those who value paper for writing.
