It works ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic and lasts a long time! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 November 2023* This is much better than I thought !Love this and it does work , the smells in my kitchen after cooking goes after lighting this . I originally bought this to cover up the smell of smoke from visitors and it did just that!It will not cover the smell as it is happening , it will improve it but it will clear the smell afterwards.Much bigger than I thought , I thought it was a small candle but it is a good size and I have had this candle for a week now and it is still has lots remaining after lighting the candle for a few hours a day .It does not have a overpowering smell very subtle which is a plus because my partner has COPD and strong smells of floral can choke him , he is absolutely fine with this candle and it does not set him off .I recently purchased an expensive candle specifically to absorb tobacco smoke and strong smells but all it did was to choke us with its overbearing smell but with the problem smell still lingering and worsened by floral overtones .I will definitely be ordering more of these for myself and also more because they will make a great Christmas gift.Love it ! ## Frequently Bought Together - Price's - Chef's Jar Candle - Odour Eliminating Candle - Made with Basil, Patchouli & Geranium Extracts - Clean, Fresh, Quality Fragrance - Long Lasting Scent - Glade Jar Candle, Scented Candle Infused with Essential Oils, Up to 31 Hour Burn Time, Vibrant Raspberries, 120g --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/50051442-candles-chefs-jar-candle-fresh-scented-odour-reducing-candle-basil](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/50051442-candles-chefs-jar-candle-fresh-scented-odour-reducing-candle-basil) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
