This chair from 2019 is still going strong years later. No rips or tears. Everything is holding up perfectly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good investment if you have neck/back pain *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2019* For the past few years, I've been struggling with increasing nerve pain in my neck, shoulders, and back. Sitting in a chair or car can cause severe pain for me, at work and especially at home. Even with the fancy ergonomic chairs at my office, sometimes I still have pain. At home, I was using a cheap computer chair I had bought at a thrift store some years ago. Another problem I had was the non-adjustable arm rests made my elbows hurt from them resting on the arms, which were too high up. Eventually I bought another chair at a store for $40 without arms, but that made the pain more intense. Neither of the chairs were working for me.Finally, I decided to make an investment in my health and comfort by buying a chair specifically made for long periods of sitting. After doing some research I stumbled upon this chair, the OPSeat Master Series. At first I was weary about spending so much on a chair. But I realized a cheaper chair probably wasn't going to help my issues. The reviews seemed to back up the price, and the fact that they offered a black/yellow color combination would match my black and yellow computer case quite nicely. I placed my order on March 27, 2019 with an expected delivery date of April 1st. On the afternoon of Friday, March 29th, I was surprised to see the tracking info updated to "delivered". I went outside and there was a huge box with the OPSeat logo on the side.After much toil, I was able to get it up the two flights of stairs to my home office. This box is HEAVY for one person to get up stairs. By my guess I'd say the box was >80 lbs in weight. The plastic bracing strap on the outside, which I tried to use to pull up the stairs, broke from the weight. If you have stairs, get someone to help you move this box.Setup was relatively simple. The only mistake I made was putting the longer bolts in the bottom of the chair by accident, which I realized on the second one. The instructions are pretty easy to follow. The included allen key works for the bolts, but I had to use an oven mitt to really tighten down the bolts, as using my bare hands on the thin key became painful (if you didn't notice, I'm a bit fragile). It has a Phillips head screwdriver on the other end, but I recommend using a real one in place of it. I think it took me about 30 minutes to put it together.After setup, I installed the headrest and the lumbar support. If you've never used lumbar or think it might be annoying, I encourage you to try it on this chair for a little bit. Having it right in the dip of my lower back keeps my spine straight and I can sit in this chair for hours with minimal pain because of it.The only thing I would like this chair to have, that it does not have, is a higher seat position. I have it all the way up and it's just a bit too short for my desk height. But, I can live with it.I feel that I've made a good investment in buying this chair. It seems to be of very good quality and I hope it lasts many years. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cute chair, served us well *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2020* UPDATE:After finally contacting OPSEAT support, they sent me a new back for the chair! It was still under the 2 year warranty, and I didn't even have to pay for shipping. It took about a week to get here (which, during the pandemic, is pretty fast!). We took off the old back, installed the new one, and the whole chair is as good as new. The customer service was great, if a little slow (again, pandemic, you can't blame them), and the new back is much cuter than the old one anyway.We took apart the old back to see what happened, and the welding that connects the screws to the side to the frame broke! Very weird. I'm maybe 130 lbs, so we're not sure how this happened.All in all, I am retracting my previous statement. I will definitely be buying from them again. And after taking the back apart to see how exactly they've built this chair, I can highly recommend it!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I bought this chair in 2018 and am writing the review in 2020. It's been a great chair and has served me very well over the past 2 years! It was fairly easy to assemble, and I haven't had any problems with the base. I love that it can recline for when I'm gaming and then sit back upright for when I'm working. The pillows it comes with aren't the best, but they don't suck either. My chair sits on carpet so it doesn't roll very much, but the wheels are nice, and it's very spinny.However, this week, I did have a problem with the chair back. I was sitting upright while I was working, and I went to yawn. I must have pushed back against the chair as I did so, and the left, free-swinging hinge leaned back with me. But that bent something in the right hinge of the chair, and something in the chair back snapped. Now the chair back just sort of pivots if I lean against it, making for a very uncomfortable sit! I'm only 5'6" and maybe 130lbs, so this shouldn't be happening.I won't be buying this chair again, but I will say it served me well while it lasted.
