Before buying this shaver, I used the most advanced Panasonic electric shaver. I thought it would deliver the closest shave for an electric razor. After using the Andis shaver, I will never return to my previous shaver. The Andis is incredible. It provides a much closer shave than the Panasonic at a significantly lower cost, plus, I now shave in less than half the time than before, when using the Panasonic. After shaving there is no "stubble" left. My face is very smooth. I can't praise the Andis enough. I am extremely happy with the shaver. One caveat, however. Because it shaves so closely, it is slightly irritating to the skin but this is a minor complaint. I gladly accept this in order to receive such close shaves. I can't praise this razor enough. Great product. Andis could improve their plastic shaver guard. It is sometimes difficult to lock properly.
