Review: Not properly recording radio shows. - Radio plays OK. But I purchased to be able to record radio shows. I followed the instructions and was able to record a 20 second test of an AM radio station to a microSD card (purchased separately). Tried for over 1 hour to try to play back the recording on the radio but could not. Took the microSD card out and was able to play the 20 second test on my laptop using the microSD card. Great. So I then tried to record a 45 second test of the same AM radio station. Seemed like it recorded but when I brought to my laptop, no new recording. So i deleted the 20 second recording from the microSD card and it showed as being empty. Tried to record another 45 seconds. On the laptop the microSD card showed a recording. But when I played the file, it was the original 20 second recording!? Tried this multiple time with the same results. Kept getting the original 20 second recording. I'm returning the radio. That is too bad as the price is great and the sound quality not bad for the size and price.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SHTF AM/FM/Shortwave/MP3 radio. So many features in a small, pocket sized unit.

This little unit has so many features packed in such a small package. When the SHTF, this will be my goto device to find out what's going on. The unit has 440 memory channels that you can save frequencies important to you. It allows for either manual entry of the frequency or you can have the unit search manually for signals, then save to a memory location. OR, the unit can scan AUTOMATICALLY and store found signals into memory locations for you. This is a fantastic feature especially for Shortwave Listening. (When doing shortwave, it's better to do this in the evenings when the propagation is better for the low frequencies. You'll get receive more stations then.). The unit sports AM/FM, Short Wave (AM only), MP3 with the included MicroSD card reader, A voice Recorder with built-in Mic, and can act as a bluetooth speaker. Very impressive for such a small little unit. The radio comes with a. nicely written manual with plenty of illustrations. it is easy to use, however many of the buttons have multiple uses, so keep the manual handy so you can get the most out of your radio. The kit came with the radio, a 1000mv Lithium Ion battery, and a USBA to MicroUSB charging cable. It also has a handy wrist strap attached. I am truly amazed that there is so much capability in such a small pocket sized unit. Don't expect that you will get the same reception as you would from a Large SDR Radio with a large antenna. That's not what this unit is meant for. For what this radio provides, it's a steal. I can recommend this radio without any hesitation.
