We emailed the company and they sent another out FAST. The second one was a repeat of the first. BUT we found out that the plug was not going in far enough. so my husband pushed it in as far as he could get it and and now both clocks work perfectly. We hooked it up just like we do our phones so we were being very careful not to ruin the cable. But it just needed to be attached "firmly". They work and keep time perfectly now. No they didn't want us to send it back..
