Review: Perfect Seam-sealer - If like me you are anxious to try a solution to cure failing tent-seam tape, then I can whole heartedly recommend this Stormseal seam sealer. I affected the repairs as per the instructions to all seams where the seam-tape was peeling away. I removed the old seam tape and applied the Stormseal solution. We have just returned from a camping trip to Dorset in our tent where we had the mother of all thunderstorms and a few hours of torrential rain. Not a drop came through the seams. If you want to fix a leaky tent where the seam-tape is failing after years of trouble free service, you really can’t go wrong with this stuff. Easy to apply with provided brush and quick drying. I’m very happy to have found this Seam-sealer as a fix to my problem.

**Q: Would this work on a neoprene kayak spraydeck that's lost its ability to keep out water due to age?**
A: Yes, it probably would, but I would be inclined to paint the spray deck with a 50% thinned solution of Stormsure Flexible Repair Adhesive which will last for longer and is much tougher. Glue is available on Amazon. You can use Toluene or Ethyl acetate to thin the adhesive. It is available on Amazon rom other suppliers or you can get it from Stormsure directly but it has to be sent by courier as it is a volatile flammable liquid.

**Q: This made a mess of my canopy due to the bottle exploding when squeezed. It went everywhere. Does anyone know how to remove the residue. Thanks**
A: you can try a solvent similar to a nail polish remover. It is easier to wipe clean when wet.

**Q: would this work on a hot tub**
A: Not sure, but there are specialist glues for hot tubs/swimming pools.

**Q: Is this suitable to use on sunbrella fabric?**
A: Sorry, I don’t know what sunbrella fabric is but it works on canvas and vinyl.

Our awning was dripping from a couple of seams during heavy rain whilst on holiday last week. So purchased this Stormseal Seam Sealer. Have used Stormseal products before to repair an inflatable canoe and they are excellent. I believe the previous version of this Seam Sealer product had a sponge top to apply the solution. This new version with a brush would seem much better. It was easy to apply exactly where wanted. I used about quarter of the bottle to cover about 3 metres of seams, so it goes a long way. However, I don't think the paper tray will last long as it is starting collapse. I think a thin plastic tray (recyclable) would be a better option - even if price went up a few pennies.
