More like an ivory or brilliant white?** A: JUST WHITE - NOT BRILLIANT WHITE NOR IVORY. **Q: Suitable for acrylics?** A: Excellent product very suitable for most mediums (not oils). **Q: Are the pages detachable from the pad? Thanks in advance.** A: The ones I've removed have come away easily without damaging the paper. I'm on duty until Monday so if you want me to check if a page can be removed from the middle of the pad without any problems then pet me know and I'll check when I'm home. I was happy with the paper too btw **Q: Is this good for charcoal?** A: Yes it is excellent. The charcoal will grip the paper and produce pressure sensitive marks. Top tip_-Avoid any type of smooth papers for charcoal! as the charcoal slides across the paper in a way that it is not designed to work. Charcoal works best with paper with some texture (or tooth) to grip the charcoal stick. Btw Daler Rowney produce consistently good paper generally. Best of luck with your drawing! ## Frequently Bought Together - Daler-Rowney Fine Grain Lightly Textured Heavyweight 200gsm A4 Drawing Paper Pad, Glued 1 Side, Acid-Free, 30 White Sheets, Ideal for Professional Artists & Students - Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolor Paint, 5ml Tube, Aureolin(Cobalt Yellow), 284610006 - DANIEL SMITH Extra Fine Watercolor Paint, 15ml Tube, Cobalt Green Pale, 284600027 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/49446960-daler-rowney-fine-grain-heavyweight-200gsm-a4-drawing-paper-pad](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/49446960-daler-rowney-fine-grain-heavyweight-200gsm-a4-drawing-paper-pad) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
