Review: Quality - Really nice set of picks. A good variety of pick types, including two metal ones which I've never used before. The whole package feels high quality. Comes in a nice embossed cardboard box, a snap tin, and the picks themselves feel really nice. No plastic flashing or sprue. This is a good variety pack or sampler, definitely something you'd probably buy once or twice to decide which ones you like and then move on to just buying those picks. The included course is not just some gimmicky video teaching you what a barre chord is and a few pentatonic licks. It's a coupon that can be used to get one video from a diverse range of actual courses, most of which seem to be about an hour long. The one I got was 10gb big, but they provide Dropbox links if you just want to stream them. The guy teaching the course seems to know his stuff and it's very easy to follow along, plus you get a PDF and Guitar Pro files in some cases. You could even think of it as buying a well priced guitar course and getting some really nice picks as a bonus. It is one per account though so more of a one time promotional thing, not something you'll get the benefit of with every purchase. Definitely something that would make a good gift for a beginner guitarist. Experienced guitarists even, there's likely a pick or two in there that they haven't tried before. Good size for a stocking filler or an extra secret gift hidden in a gig bag pocket of your kid's first guitar. Review: Very Pleased with these. - Picked Guitar up again after a few years hiatus. Not sure why but the picks I’ve used didn’t seem to work for me so I’ve been searching for something better. Went with these as it was a mixed selection and came in a handy little tin. These are the non-shiny style picks that come in various colours to depict the thickness. I’ve used each different one now and found all of them to really hit the spot depending on what I’m playing. Really Like them. Good to hold, feel grippy in hand. The size of them is fine and the thicknesses seem to be varied for the pack but hit all the right sizes for me. I’ll definitely be getting more. ## Features - 16 FUNKY DELRIN GUITAR PICKS ✦ Discover 16 premium Delrin plectrums in 6 colourful Pick Geek designs, combining a smooth, confident playing feel with plenty of choice for different guitars and techniques. - 4 GAUGES FOR MORE WAYS TO PLAY ✦ Light, Medium, Heavy and Extra Heavy picks let you move from flexible strumming to balanced rhythm work, articulate picking, riffs, solos and a firmer attack. - SMOOTH, CONTROLLED DELRIN FEEL ✦ Delrin provides a firm, responsive alternative to traditional Celluloid, making Funky Delrin particularly suited to players who enjoy precision, control and a consistent feel against the strings. - FREE HD GUITAR LESSON ✦ Every set includes complimentary access to a high-definition guitar lesson, adding an extra learning experience for beginners and established players alongside their new plectrums. - CLICK-CLACK POCKET STORAGE TIN ✦ Keep all 16 picks conveniently together inside the reusable metal tin. They work perfectly. The set comes with picks which vary in thickness. I think the thinnest ones work best on the nylon strings. **Q: Does the jazz box come with link to guitar academy ?** A: If your asking whether you receive a voucher for online lessons - Yes. The original came with one so I guess they all must. **Q: Can you buy a set of picks in only 1 thickness, i.e. only Heavy or Extra Heavy?** A: Hi there, You can place the order and add a note to request a bespoke order if you want only one thickness i.e. only Heavy or Extra Heavy **Q: Hi, are these like dunlop tortex in that they have a powdery appearance /feel? Or, are they smooth and shiny in appearance and feel? Thanks** A: The delrin picks are like Tortex. The gauges aren’t all exactly the same but you’re given a selection and will find suitable thicknesses for a multitude of uses. The material feels the same as Tortex and they do have that light powdery coating, although the coating wears off after a while just like any pick of this material. If you’re after a smooth shiny plastic, consider the celluloid set. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality *by S***T on 15 July 2020* Really nice set of picks.
