I have found one can buy it cheaper by getting the 250gm bags. **Q: Approx how many mg of caffeine in a double espresso? i.e. 16g of these beans (it will vary, but roughly, if anyone knows)** A: I used to work in the toxicology lab for a chemical firm, we changed from a tea/coffee room to a machine. Someone analysed the coffee from machine and it had far less caffeine than filter coffee. The strongest coffee was from a perculator in one of the offices. Espresso coffee was stonger than filter coffee. I have now tried the beans and they are very acidic and leave quite a bad taste in your mouth, whether having the coffee as an espresso or a large coffee with milk. Due to the other comments saying the taste is good I wonder if I have received a bad batch that is stale as the acidity is very strong.
