I ended up purchasing my food grade peroxide cured silicone tubing from the McMmaster page. **Q: Would this be suitable for chlorine bleach at 12%?** A: Bleach can damage silicone overtime permanently. This silicone tube will be ok for bleach in a short period of time for temporary application. **Q: Can I use this to replace the tubing on my pool water slide? I am looking for something better than what pool co. Sell.** A: This product is very, very soft material and beyond flexible. This would not be a good product for your outdoor equipment of any sort. This product is not intended for that type of use. I recommend a type of tubing that is referred to as braided vinyl tubing. This brand though, is terrific otherwise. **Q: Is this platinum or peroxide cured silicone?** A: At this price I assume peroxide but you can bake it to improve curing. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/492018202-1-16-id-silicone-tubing-food-grade-1-16-id](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/492018202-1-16-id-silicone-tubing-food-grade-1-16-id) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
