Should last a fair while and I like the handy dispenser. Only downside is that I feel the leads are a bit hard and feint for HB leads. It may just be my preference bit I'm sure I have had better leads for writing. These seems rather scratchy and drag on the paper when writing - don't seem to wear in. They certainly don't seem like the Faber lead supplied with the pencil. Perhaps these are more for technical drawing in which case I wonder if Faber do another type of lead. I didn't think there was a difference.
