I am hanging them up on my wall and using them to organize my ribbons. They all fit in very nicely and do not roll around. The glass at the front is about an inch in height. It works really well and stops anything you put inside from falling off. It looks very clean the corners are rounded and not pointy so nothing should get snagged.
