I didn’t realize and I broke one, just like others commented, trying to spread it open to fit it on the terminal. The positive is slightly larger in diameter than the negative. Glad it came with 4 because once I realized, I was fortunate to have two more to correct my incompetence. Once you put the correctly labeled connector on the correct terminal, they fit just fine. Even come with terminal shims to shore up any play or looseness. I’d recommend not trying to spread them open for more room to fit. Just put the correct ones on the correct terminal. Quality is good. Wire connections are really good. They look good and they work. No issues with conductivity. I paired these with upgraded 2 AWG battery cables. Handled it everything.

A: Hello, you can use 2 x Adjustable Spacers. I used the Spacers that came with it. It’s a-tight fit using the Spacers.
