## Questions & Answers

**Q: What mains power supply could I use for this?**
A: The mains supply is 240v as usual. The Rainbird control box, presumably has a transformer rducing the voltage to 12v. As far as I know, certainly on my system, the solenoid works on 12v

**Q: Can these be actuated from a controller operating with a 9 volt battery or you need to use another power source for actuating?**
A: These are 24v so a 9v will not be enough. You will need a transformer to the mains or a controller that is 24v compatible

**Q: are these normally closed so 24vac power to turn water on?**
A: Correct.

**Q: Is it 24v ac or dc**
A: written only
