Review: The only solution that has worked for my pond with this heatwave! - My pond is only 500 liters & aside from a blanket weed problem earlier on in the year it has always been clear of algae. However, recently with the heatwave it has had an algae bloom & adding different solutions, regularly cleaning filter, adding more oxygenating plants, hasn’t worked. I set it up in a temporary position so it could get to work. Set up was easy once I asked google to show me, as the instructions were not good. It runs off my Easyclear Filter Pump now it’s worked I’m going to position nicely so it will run a waterfall too. Took about 5 days to see a vast improvement in the water clarity. Review: Perfect - A larger unit that I had expected at this price point. Fantastic indicator for bulb activity and very easy set up. The release to change the bulb is very intuitive and easy to use. Easy set up and feels very well made. The brackets to fit to a fence or wall are solid and easy to use although I imagine the unit would function just as well without them. (in terms of tubing fitting?** A: I'm unsure regarding size fitting but what I can say is this is the best uv filter I have had, I would just get it and try it out. Very easy to assemble . Good luck **Q: Will this qork on a fluval 307** A: Assuming Fluval 307 is your filter it should work if you you fit it in the pipe to the input side between the pump and the filter. Mine is fitted there feeding to a home built lave rock filter and it works really well. Pond is 4500litres if that helps. **Q: Where can i get spare bulbs for CUV-211?** A: At most aquatic shops. standard type bulbs. **Q: Hi, what size is the thread on the unit which the hose tail attaches to?** A: No idea of the thread size on the unit which holds the "tail", I don't need to know. The hose tail is cot to suit hose diameter, the hose is pushed on and held with a jubilee clip. ( Warm the hose end in hot water, to make it more pliable to push on.
