Exact fit for 19 inch wide rack mount
Great quality but also compact power distribution unit. Works exactly as expected. Feels strong and has a black slightly textured finish. Fits my 19 inch wide rack mount case perfectly. Nice length sturdy lead and plug. Good indication of power on/off with illuminated isolation switch. Spare rack sockets ideal for stowing plug. Stops plug rattling around in the case while in transit. Good quality unit at value for money price. Many thanks.

Excellent value.
This is an excellent product which I have mounted in the back of my wireless rack. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because, like other reviewers, I had to shorten the ears to make it fit a standard 19" rack. No big deal, but surely the manufacturers could test their fitting and shorten each ear by about 1 mm during the manufacturing process.

Great
Works perfect and looks great. Is slightly wider then 19, I sawed off a bit on both ear sides and filed. Fits perfect now. Best part the home socket I used showed no ground, due to it was faulty (which was fixed). I have given it 5 because even if it didn't quite fit my studio rack the price, quality what you pay for and quick delivery was spot on. Thx

What’s 6mm between friends?
This unit functions well and the sockets feel firm, without being overly stiff. Build quality seems reasonably good and it should last well. I’d gladly give this 5* at this price point except for one thing....the size. Even the product’s box says it’s 19” or 482.6mm long. I measured it at more like 19+1/4” or 489mm long. In an age where we can machine to microscopic tolerances, this is absolutely shocking! Guess I’ll have to get the hacksaw out as it certainly won’t fit into any rack or flight case I’ve ever owned.Update. OK, this is not recommended by me in any way shape or form, but it took me about 5 mins:1) Remove rack ear from the end opposite the cable entry point (so you’re nowhere near anything electrical) - requires Torx head screw driver or Allen key at a push - 2 self tapping screws to remove.2) Hacksaw off about 6mm of the aluminium extrusion with the plastic spacer still fitted (so you’re shortening this at the same time).3) Clear away any aluminium filings that have found their way inside.4) Replace rack ear and tighten screws to secure.5) Voila! Fits in a 19” rack case/cabinet like the proverbial glove.I just got another one of these with surge protection, which can’t unfortunately be modified as above. So I had to hacksaw a few mmm of one of the rack ears. Really quite ridiculous that so many of these have clearly been made and badged by multiple companies with such an obviously bad specification. The answer seems to be to warn you to ‘check that you have a standard 19” rack”. Well, I’ve been working with 19” rack equipment for around 40 years, so I know exactly what a standard rack is and these don’t fit without modification. Please folks, don’t blame the customer when the fault so obviously lies in manufacture!Still really good bits of kit that I wish I could promote to 5*, but I can’t!

Works well, just.....
The unit works as it should (well so far anyway). But as others have commented. why oh why has it not been modified (it's been on the market for long enough) to make sure it fits inside a rack without having to get a small piece taken off to fit?I've been working with pro equipment for many years and never bought a rack mounted unit that doesn't fit. A little modification that would make a great product, fab.
