But what really blew me away is how incredibly nonstick it is. I’ve been using it for several weeks now, and it has performed beautifully every time. Food slides right out and cleanup is so easy. I’m also really impressed with the quality considering how cost-effective this pan is. It looks great, works extremely well, and so far the nonstick surface has held up perfectly with regular use. I honestly didn’t expect it to perform this well at this price point. I will definitely be purchasing this brand again! Review: Good pans are hard to find! Look no further! - I was looking for me a nonstick pan and found this 12in carote pan. I absolutely love this pan. It comes in two pieces. The handle is detached. It comes with a screw driver to attach the handle with a screw driver. Not just a cheap one either. It comes with a really nice screw driver. Not 100% on what the handle is made of but it doesn't get hot and does the job. Its also comfortable to hold. The pan itself is granite and wonderful. I haven't had anything stick to it at all. Its super easy to clean. Its become a go to cooking pan around my house. I love to cook smothered potatoes and onions in it. I have had mine around 8 months. I loved it so much I bought the Queen cook (my mom) one. She loves hers as well. I will definitely be buying more carote pots and pans in my future. Right now I have my eye on the ones with the removal handles. Definitely recommend! Good pans are hard to find. ## Features - Eco-friendly Classic Granite: Non-stick Granite Material, PFOS,PFOA free, our cookware ensures your daily cooking is always safer and healthier. - Easy To Clean: Just wipe it with a paper towel or rinse it with water, Less Co2 emission and Less water wasted. - Suitable For All Stoves: Heats up quickly and evenly with extended bottom design. All nonstick pans are PFOA-free since 2014 when the substance was banned. PTFE-granite pans like this one have ceramic bits which gives it rough texture and protects the PTFE coating better than typical nonstick pans. **Q: What is the weight of this wok?** A: Don't have a small scale, but it felt slightly heavier than a 2 lb. weight. I would guess around 2.5 lbs. **Q: Does it have Lead?** A: Hi it does not have lead. Only the pan. No tiene tapa solo el sarten **Q: Can this be a deep fryer?** A: This is a pan, not a "deep fryer." Carote makes a well priced 4 qt or 6 qt pot that can work for deep frying. Amazon has both, well priced in my opinion. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really impressed- it’s so good! *by A***P on September 23, 2026* I absolutely love the color and look of this pan! The skillet is light weight and easy to use. Yet, it looks and performs well on my electric stove. It is well worth the money. And I love it that the manufacturer includes a screw driver for assembling the handle. I do not have to go looking to find the right sized screw driver. I highly recommend this skillet. ## Frequently Bought Together - CAROTE Nonstick Frying Pan Skillet,Non Stick Granite Fry Pan Egg Pan Omelet Pans, Stone Cookware Chef's Pan, PFOA Free,Induction Compatible(Classic Granite, 8-Inch) - CAROTE Non Stick Frying Pan Skillet, Nonstick Granite Fry Pan with Glass Lid, Egg Pan Omelet Pans, Stone Cookware Chef's Pan, PFOA Free (Classic Granite, 10-Inch) - CAROTE 1.5Qt & 3.0Qt Sauce Pan Set with Lid Nonstick Saucepan 4 Pcs Non Stick Sauce Pots Cooking Pot with Pour Spout, Easy to Clean, Small Kitchen Pots Induction Pot, PFOA FREE (Class Granite) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/48822603-carote-nonstick-frying-pan-8-inch-classic-granite-skillet](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/48822603-carote-nonstick-frying-pan-8-inch-classic-granite-skillet) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
