Or would that be expecting too much?** A: You get two but beware the quality might vary between the two! I bought the set for black peppercorns and, for white or pale sauces, white peppercorns. But one permanently feels like the batteries are struggling and it takes ages to grind much. Bought Feb. 2017. Today, 22nd Jan. 2021, I'm giving up and looking for another pepper grinder to replace the bad one. However, as I like to have them the same I might end up buying a new set of two - but it won't bbe Russell Hobbs. **Q: Where is it made ?** A: Non lo so’ **Q: What is the size of this item?** A: The answer to your question regarding the size of these grinders as follows: 9 inches or 23 cm tall and at the widest point of the base is 2 1/4 inches or 6 cm. Hope this info helps. **Q: What are they like to refill? I have had similar ones and the hole to add ingredients was small.** A: I find it easy to refill. The top part is removed by twisting it, it has a lock and unlock sign. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great at their job. *by M***6 on 30 June 2026* Work very well.. adjustable grinding size for your favourite peppercorns is a nice touch.. look good in any kitchen. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality and easy to use *by B***N on 12 September 2026* Very easy to use. Grinds well and easy to change the coarseness of the grind. Hole to refill smaller than some but still not difficult. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great grinders, but the bottom caps could fit better *by I***O on 5 August 2026* I love the Russell Hobbs brand and have used many of their products over the years, so I expected good quality—and performance-wise, these salt and pepper mills are brilliant. They grind effortlessly at the press of a button. However, the clear plastic bottom cover/base is quite loose. It comes off too easily and ends up leaving loose salt and pepper residue on the countertop, which creates a bit of a mess. Knocking off one star for the base cap, but otherwise a solid 4-star product. ## Frequently Bought Together - Russell Hobbs Battery Powered Salt and Pepper Grinders 23460-56 - Stainless Steel and Silver - The Spice Lab Himalayan Salt - Coarse 2.2 Lb / 1 Kilo - Pink Himalayan Salt is Nutrient and Mineral Dense for Health - Gourmet Pure Crystal - Kosher & Natural Certified - Viva Doria Rainbow Peppercorns - Four Peppercorn Blend, Whole Black, Green, Pink and White Pepper, Steam Sterilized 6 Oz, For Grinder Refill --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/48782076-russell-hobbs-stainless-steel-electric-salt-and-pepper-mill-set](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/48782076-russell-hobbs-stainless-steel-electric-salt-and-pepper-mill-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
