**Q: Is this a DRY shampoo .. as no water needed to use it. My old boy cannot be bathed now but need a "shampoo"**
A: Good Morning, you need to thoroughly wet the animal´s coat with tepid water before massaging the shampoo into the fur. It then needs to be rinsed off after 5 minutes. I hope that this information is of some assistance to you. Kind regards, VetnPet

A: Do not know what a stud tail is in cats ' should be ok for normal shampooing.

**Q: does this shampoo stop dog scratching and loosing coat**
A: We have a German Shepherd dog with semi long, very thick hair.  He has had ear and skin problems since we had him.  Our vet originally recommended that we try Coatex Aloe and Oatmeal shampoo which we did and were very pleased with the results.  We have been using this for approximately a year now.  He scratches much less and has very few dermatitis problems.  We have however found the same product on Amazon much cheaper than our vets!  Hope this helps ... its worth a try anyway (and it smells lovely!).
