## Description

From the manufacturer Check out these Amazing BRIO World Themes Smart Tech is the new Train technology from BRIO! Simply press go on the engine and set up the Smart Tech arches around the track. The Engine will automatically detect each arch and do exactly what is shown. It could stop, start, go slow, turn on the lights or make a sound. Isn't that fun. Where will the train go next? And what will it do? It’s all up to you. All hands to the pumps! There's a major fire in the forest and we need to put it out quickly! The alarm is raised at the Fire Station and the Firefighters are ready! Sirens are blaring, the helicopter has been filled and is ready for take off. Even the Fire boat has been pulled into action! All we need now is you. The Police theme is packed full of action! Today will be a busy day. Transport the gold shipment by train but hang on we've got engine trouble. That's suspicious. We'll have to call in the Police Helicopter. Race to the rescue with the Police Van or Police Boat and lock up the thieves in the superb Police station! There's plenty to do down at the BRIO farm. The retro designed farm playset lets your child lead the life of a successful farmer. After milking the cow, old Daisy is put out to pasture. Meanwhile the tractor is taking a large bale of hay to the barn. Fulfilling work. Smart-Tech Fire & Rescue Police Farm About BRIO Open-ended play system BRIO World is our open-ended play system that grows with your child. All BRIO World toys work with each other to create an entirely customisable world that’s fuelled by children’s imaginations and endless combinations of play. Explore the world through play BRIO World is designed to help children discover and explore the real world. As they play with the recognisable vehicles, destinations and accessories, the realistic roleplay helps them to make sense of the world around them. Promotes creative thinking The construction elements within BRIO World challenge pre-schoolers to use their creativity and math skills as they play, such as patterning, classifying and sorting. Sibling safe with no small parts We’ve designed BRIO World to be sibling safe with no small parts. This means that children younger than 3 years can safely be a part of the same play environment. BRIO was founded in 1884 in Osby, a small town located in southern Sweden. It is now a world-renowned brand best known for its wooden railway system, which was first created in 1958 and now sold throughout the world. Tougher than Tough Maybe we're control-freaks, but we test our toys against tougher standards than the law demands. To be exact, we test our toys up to 25% more than the law demands. Toys that grow on trees Wood is one of our company’s strongest identifiers, and many of our wooden products have become icons in the world of toys. We’re proud to say that all wood used in our toys is from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified sources

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this train actually operate on its own or just light up and needs to be pulled along by hand?**
A: It goes itself (when switched on). It's not very fast but it's very strong. My three year old grandson hooks up over a dozen carriages, and it pulls them up over bridges. He loves it.

**Q: How does the spinning wagon spin without a battery?**
A: Presumably the power is transmitted to both wagons from the engine when they're connected.

**Q: Hi will this run on the ikea track? I have invested in whole lot of ikea track and would be a shame. Anyone tried this with ikea?**
A: It mostly likely will. We use ours on a different make track and it works fine. Apparently they are mostly standard size. We have bits and bobs from all different makes and sets with no problems :)

**Q: does this train work on the pointkids wooden train set**
A: It works well on wooden track. We have a Brio track but most wooden track is the same s presume it will work well. My son loves it
