Engine Oil System Cleaner with Piston Rings Anticarbon Effect Changing the oil without first flushing the oil system can degrade the detergent and protective properties of the new motor oil, reducing its lifespan. Solution: Flush the oil system before changing the oil. Using low-quality oil or operating the engine under harsh conditions - such as daily short-distance trips, city driving in “start-stop” mode, prolonged idling in traffic jams, or engine overheating - can cause piston rings to carbonize and lose mobility. This can lead to increased oil consumption, smoking, and power loss. Solution: Treat piston rings with an anticarbon agent. **Q: Can it be used with synthetic oil?**
A: Should not be used at all. Caused my engine to seize.

**Q: My engine seized after adding this to my truck engine. Drove 10 miles. Has this happened to anyone else?**

Thank you for your question. We appreciate you decided to try our product out.
This product is recommended for engines with oil capacity up to 5qts. If you go over, 7qts of motor oil will still be acceptable.
 It is recommended to idle the engine for 10-15 minutes or to get better results you may drive for about 12mi. 
If your engine has severe contamination - you could try going for 90-120mi with it, but no more. This is a very powerful solution which will clean everything thoroughly.

**Q: can i leave the cleaner on the engine until the next oil change?**
A: I wouldn't. My engine seized after putting it in my engine of my Nissan Frontier and doing a quick, "warmup" drive.
