This scary but necessay home scale is extremely nice for the price in every way! Glass and battery operated, it has large bright blue digital reading that can be seen even in the dark. It has a very minimalist, steel blue plate and is very modern in design. Just put pressure on the scale to begin and step on it! The batteries were pre-loaded which surprised me but at least they were included. This scale is thin and sturdy; it doesn’t slip on hard floor surfaces. No frills and can be easily slid out of the way for storage. I put mine in that small space between the refrigerator and kitchen counter so it can GLARE out at me before I decide to open the refrigerator door but is totally out of view of other less compulsive family members.
