Review: Great protection, looks cool, kickstand rocks, but at a price (weight!) - I got this for my 2023 M2 MacBook Pro - and this is quite possibly the best MacBook protective cover I've ever purchased. I'll start with the bad, to get that out of the way. This thing is a BEAST. It adds SO much heft to the already heavy MBP. It's kind of obnoxious. One of my pictures shows the thickness related to a 2019 MBP. BUT, I spent a lot of money on this (INCREDIBLE) new M2, and I want to protect it. This case will do that, and honesty, I kinda like the way the extra weight feels. The kickstand is amazing. I was a little unsure, but I can't believe how much I use it. It's partly metal, feels good, and has 3 different heights. It's really really solid. The rubber feet on this are a ZILLION TIMES BETTER than the native stupid Apple feet. For this high-end of a laptop, I'm surprised Apple makes the feet so slippery. Not so with this case. They are rubber, and feel really solid. Your MBP will NOT move on a surface. It was super easy to put on. But one other negative, it really shows lint/dust - and I'm going to predict scratches pretty easily. (you can clearly see the stuff it's already collected in the picture) The clear parts are SUPER GLOSSY - which I don't really care for, but it's OK. if it gets scratched, I'll start my sticker collection. Until then, I'm leaving it as is. I REALLY wish there were other colors, but I'm OK with the black/clear, particularly with the Space Gray finish. I am glad that I did. The stand incorporated in the back of the case is a very nice addition. The case is very stout. It fits perfectly with absolutely zero interference with any side ports on either side. When the computer is open, I can't even tell that the case is there. The top is clear, like glass. I don't know why they did that, but it looks good. It may have doubled the computer's weight. It's not crazy heavy, but it is notable if you're accustomed to the computer without the cover. That shouldn't be a deal breaker. It isn't that much. Lastly, It was literally a snap to install, and just as easy to remove if needed. Once installed, it's on there and isn't going to slip off on its own.
