**Q: does this item work with win 8.1**
A: yes!! my HP picks up the sky Broadband but the Acer 8.1 is just a bit too far so that is the reason for the TP-Link, just follow the instructions adjust the attni. what I have done is focus the direction towards the room where my Laptops are, I don't suppose it makes any difference. Good Luck, whenever the signal does not I use the troubleshoot but it usually connects before the troubleshoot has ended. nichalandy.

**Q: Does this work out of the box with a raspberry pi?**
A: I've had issues with Linux (which I presume the Raspberry Pi runs off) when using this. It keeps cutting out, but on windows it is fine. You have to install the windows driver on Linux and this will make it work - but out of the box no, it is very unstable. Hope this helps.

**Q: will this work with windows 8?**
A: Worked fine. Plug it in and it picked up the wireless signal quickly and has worked ever since.

**Q: does this work with a usb printer?**
A: I can't see it will work if directly connected to a USB printer as it needs an operating system to work

I am very pleased with this TP-Link Archer TX10UB Nano as it provides a perfect balance of performance and functionality for my setup. The speed of the WiFi 6 connection is impressive and I have noticed a significant improvement in stability even when downloading large files. It was incredibly easy to set up and the compact size makes it a very practical addition to any desktop or laptop.The Bluetooth connectivity is outstanding and allows me to connect multiple devices simultaneously without any dropouts. I was particularly impressed by the sound quality when using my wireless headphones because the audio remains crisp and clear with no noticeable lag. Considering the modern features like Bluetooth 5.3 and WPA3 security included in such a small device it offers fantastic value for money. It is a reliable and well engineered product that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fast and stable network upgrade.

Bought this to replace the same wifi 5 one in my 9 year old laptop. I switched broadband provider from a wifi 5 to a wifi 6 router which my laptop was not complatible with. The old wifi 5 adapter still worked but there was a noticeable drop in speed which wasn't sufficient for my uploads and downloads. So I purchased this to tide me over till I buy a new laptop later in the year. This is so easy to install. Just unbox and plug into usb port and it automatically installs itself with drivers etc. Just remember to switch off your devices internal wifi/network adapter so that your device uses this one instead. My speeds immediately increased again, to even higher with the same device but with the wifi 5 adapter. After a Windows auto update, for some reason this adaptor wouldn't auto switch on when I fired up my laptop. I had to manually go to my network settings and enable it again. However, all I did to fix this was to go to the Support section of the TP Link website, find this adaptor and redownload and install the drivers again and problem solved. So little affordable dongle has saved me from panic buying a new laptop much sooner than I wanted to. Has given me much more time to research new laptops. I haven't used the bluetooth side of it yet as I haven't had to but based on the wifi performace, I'm pretty sure the bluetooth side would be an improvement too. Highly recommend this.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works perfectly after a slightly frustrating start.

I have an old laptop I use for myself but it only has a 2.4Ghz wifi card in it and where I use it isn't the best of places for the wifi signal. I had tried a UGreen dongle and that was useless so I though I would try this TP-Link version.The driver is already on the dongle but it did take a few attempts for it to automatically work on start up. I had to install the driver several times but now it is perfect. I get wifi6 and WPA3 security on an old laptop plus the download speed is only 6Mb off my router speed.If you have an internal wifi card you will need to stop it working at start up otherwise this dongle doesn't work immediately either. If you go into the wifi setting you will see you have 2 wifi coneections to choose from and by default it seems, on mine at least, to opt for the internal card first until you stop it all together.For the price it is perfect but I deducted one star for the initial hassle with the driver and start up issue.
