It cycles through auto-frothers for easy cleanup, cleans milk lines, traditional steam wands and steel pitchers. The bottle has a built-in measuring device which delivers over 30 uses per bottle. Rinza is also available in tablet and acid liquid form. Instructions When used with automatic milk frothers, loosen cap and squeeze the bottle to fill the dosing chamber Mix a solution of 15-30ml Rinza Milk Frother Cleaner and 500ml cold water Insert suction tube into solution and run entire solution through frother Repeat point three twice with fresh cold water to thoroughly rinse all components For steam wands & dairy-related equipment, soak for 15-30 mins in 30ml Rinza and 500ml warm water Rinse all components with fresh water What is the shelf life of Urnex products? All formulas have been tested and approved for a 24 month shelf life under room temperature conditions. On occasion, powder products stored in hot and humid warehouses may experience clumping. A: Without knowing the specific properties of the above mentioned cleaner it is hard to say. Rinza is designed to break down milk protein and is suitable for automatic milk frothers and manual steam wands. If that is what you are cleaning on your machine, Rinza would be the right product to use.

**Q: What are the ingredients in this? The Jura milk system cleaner uses potassium hydroxide and sodium carbonate only.**
A: I don't know what is in the Urnex alkaline but potassium hydroxide and sodium carbonate each have a PH>7 so they are alkaline.   That may be why I started using the Urnex alkaline instead of the Jura cleaner 6+ years ago.   I used it my first Jura, an S9, and in my current A9.    I'm completely satisficed with the Urnex alkaline

**Q: Does anyone use this for a manual frothing system? Hoping to use this to minimize milk/sugar build up in the wand**
A: I don't use it for that, but I can't see it hurting. I soak my parts in a solution of this product to remove buildup.

**Q: Can I use this for a standalone electric frother/steamer (Gourmia) to get the milk protein off the stainless interior/frother blade?**
