Review: Really good and easy to use product! - Fits the keyboard of my Lenovo laptop perfectly. My laptop is 15.6 inches and this size extends all the way to the end. It’s thin enough that it is comfortable without feeling like paper. It came rolled up but easy enough that I can just unroll it and put it on straight away. My laptop closes easily with it on & typing is very smooth and easy as it is transparent enough that all the keys are visible. Perfect for me who has sensory issues with the texture of keyboard. Plus it doubles as a dust protection. No complaints 10/10 recommend it. For reference I have the Lenovo v15 g2. Review: Good - I was not sure what to expect with this, Ive had it on my Toshiba Satellite laptop for over a week and its funny to type on and sometimes it slips and moves about around the edges, But at the same time it DOES protect the keyboard from dust and dirt. Because I can see that there is a lot that it has caught. I think you just have to get used to it, saying that Ive not had to type a lot on this laptop. It depends on the person, give it a go and protect and look after your things. It does fit my 15.6" and there isn't no over hang. . . and my keyboard is white so it's not obvious, it just depends on the person really. I want to look after my stuff thes best I can :) ## Features - Protects your notebook against wear and tear, spills, dirt, food crumbs, bugs, and other unwanted el. - Ultra thin and highly transparent, doesn't affect typing. - Made of durable flexible non-slip polyurethane- provides ultra comfort feel for typing. - Washable and easy to remove. - Universal Fits 15"-17.3" Laptop keyboards.Size is 365mm*134mm. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004FI11C4 | | Best Sellers Rank | 12,985 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) 21 in Computer Keyboard Covers | | Brand | Goliton | | Brand Name | Goliton | | Colour | Clear | | Compatible Devices | Laptop | | Compatible Phone Models | Universal fit for laptop keyboards | | Compatible devices | Laptop | | Compatible phone models | Universal fit for laptop keyboards | | Country of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 4,460 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Thermoplastic Polyurethane | | Item Dimensions L x W | 36.5L x 13.4W centimetres | | Item Weight | 10 Grams | | Manufacturer | Goliton | | Manufacturer Part Number | FBA_SLP-FCMS-17F | | Material | Thermoplastic Polyurethane | | Model Name | FBA_SLP-FCMS-17F | | Model Number | FBA_SLP-FCMS-17F | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Pattern | Transparent | | Product Features | Non-slip | | Product Finish Type | Clear | | Size | 14.4 x 5.3 inches | | Special feature | Non-slip | | Theme | Bugs | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Goliton - **Colour:** Clear - **Compatible devices:** Laptop - **Compatible phone models:** Universal fit for laptop keyboards - **Material:** Thermoplastic Polyurethane ## Images ![Universal Silicone Keyboard Protective Film for Laptops, 15 inches / 15.6 inches / 16 inches / 16.4 inches / 17 inches / 17.1 inches / 17.3 inches - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/710mkojELuL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does it fit a standard desktop keyboard with the numpad?** A: Yes,it does fit a standard desktop keyboard with numbers. **Q: Can this fit a hp pavilion?** A: If the width of your hp Pavilion keyboard is 15in (38cm) it should fit with out a problem. I've bought this product twice now and have found it's perfect for my usage. Having previously owned a gaming keyboard and gaming laptop, I didn't want my new keyboard to have all the keys rubbing off. I tried multiple keyboard covers for my laptop (MSI PE70, 17 inches) but nothing worked until this product. The keyboard skin fits well over the keyboard with one layer that's sticker to help it stick onto the keyboard. The other side is a silky, matte, plastic feeling which is surprisingly pleasant. I haven't noticed any increase in difficulty typing. Over time I found the stickiness reduced but you can just wash it under a tap and leave to airdry and then the stickiness is restored. The product lasted approximately 2 years before it started getting some tears due to a lot of usage. The keyboard itself is completely pristine with no rubbing or residue between the keys! ## Frequently Bought Together - Goliton Universal Silicone Keyboard Protector Skin for Laptop Notebook 15 inch /15.6 inch /16 inch /16.4 inch /17 inch /17.1 inch /17.3 inch (14.37 Inch x 5.27 Inch) - Universal Keyboard Protector Cover Skin for Laptop Notebook 13" 14" 15.6" inch,Ultra Thin Silicone Waterproof Dustproof Keyboard Protector Skin (15"-17.3" Universal Laptop Keyboard Covers) - Universal Clear Waterproof Anti-Dust Silicone Keyboard Protector Cover Skin for Standard Size PC Computer Desktop Keyboards (Size: 17.52" x 5.51") --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/48399670-universal-silicone-keyboard-protective-film-for-laptops-15-inches-15](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/48399670-universal-silicone-keyboard-protective-film-for-laptops-15-inches-15) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
