You will need to paint the ark which comes handily primed in white so you can pick whatever colour you fancy, given that the panels are grey (not quite the blue we thought looking at the sellers pictures we picked a soft yellow). For the money it's a really good hutch for Rabbits even if you have a little prep to do, similar sized things are on sale for around the Β£200 mark at the likes of pets at home. It is on the small side for chickens however, unless you plan to only house them in it at night. We put some raw chicken in for the first night to test if a fox could break in...and yes fox broke in, the wire mesh is really flimsy, fox literally just pushed his way through.
