**Q: Can I use this product in lantern and oil lamps ?take**
A: Yes.  I regularly use it in oil lamps, including Tilly lamps.

**Q: Anybody using it in a pressurised lamp (e.g. vapalux, tilley or coleman)? Thanks**
A: Yes, I use it all the time in blue flame heaters, as well as both Vapalux pressure lamps, and Aladdin incandescent mantle lamps. It burns beautifully and cleanly, and while there might be a slight smell on first lighting and extinguishing, there is none of the smoke or odour you used to associate with paraffin in the old days. Hope this helps.

**Q: Can i use this in my storm lamp?**
A: Should be perfcctly OK. For the house where we have a few paraffin lamps for emergency, we usually use lamp oil that is a bit less smelly than Paraffin. If I run out of lamp oil I would use Paraffin. 
On the boat I use a white light paraffin lamp for an anchor light. Been using that for years. And of course Barrettine 4 x 4Litres is much cheaper.

**Q: Do the containers, even if tightly closed, allow paraffin fumes to seep out? I spend a lot of time in the shed - I don't want to be poisoned by fumes!**
A: No they don’t. I’ve had an opened one in my shed since early this year and don’t smell anything.

I had to resort to buying paraffin online as all local suppliers had sold out and did not know when or if they were going to stock it again. I bought a paraffin heater for the house to save on gas and electricity costs. This paraffin is fine. It has an odour on light up which is probably more to do with the heater itself. Once running there is little smell. I was impressed with the prompt service from the supplier and could follow the progress of the delivery van. So overall satisfied.
