I used it in a meditation class, where I can't normally hear the guided meditation at all. With this device I could hear every word, and also the soft music playing in the background. I was recommended one of these devices by a relative and bought it based on previous reviews. This device has literally been a life changer and I have only been using it for 2 days. It is a hand held microphone that clips to your belt and amplifies the sounds around you. You can adjust the amplification according to what you need and when in different environments. As others have mentioned it is difficult to hear the direction of sounds but at the end of the day it is £40 and not a replacement for hearing aids. Due to my level of hearing loss I cannot hear the television utilising this device. Some may be embarrassed by the size of the device and the fact it has super ear written on the side. However, to me it just allows people to visually see my disability.
