This was initially intended as a temporary measure while I tested the camera so I used a small strip (less than 2 inches) but I am still using it because it works so well. For several months it has been subjected to direct sun, extreme temperatures, and movement that nearly flips it upside down because the camera is attached to a hatch that is raised repeatedly every day. It has not moved at all! It is also still working to hold the USB hub mentioned in my original review, which also has not moved. Excellent product!Original review:I purchased this to hold a large USB hub to the bottom of a desktop. The product is easy to trim with scissors and easy to apply. This USB hub I attached it to is heavy and gets a lot of use with cords constantly being plugged in and removed. The mounting strip has been in place for a few days now and the USB hub has not moved at all.
