The bean bag base ensures that heat doesn't transfer through and the tray is still stable, they are also a good size. A: 17 an 1/2 inch by 13 an 1/2 inch - good quality too - glad I bought them

**Q: Is the cushion leather**
A: No,not leather but a good quality material,mine are still good after all this time. I would be afraid if it was leather it might stick to your legs.

These trays are fantastic! They are very well made and look exactly like the picture. The bean bag base ensures that heat doesn't transfer through and the tray is still stable, they are also a good size.
