You could check with the supplier though, they may be able to advise you if it will be suitable or not. **Q: The seal around the glass window of my convertible has perished (about 30cm). Using the sealant and strong magnets do you think this will bond it back** A: 18 months ago I used it to seal between the plastic inner arches and steel wings of my car and it seems to have held. **Q: Does it seal oilplugs?** A: Not to my knowledge, best to contact the supplier for that info. ## Frequently Bought Together - Granville GV0373 Silicone Sealant, 40 g, Black - V-Tech VT-131 Quality Auto Sealer Silicone Adhesive Sealant: 75gm Windscreen - GRANVILLE GV0374 Silicone Sealant, 40 g, Clear --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/48180319-granville-gv0373-silicone-sealant-40-g-black](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/48180319-granville-gv0373-silicone-sealant-40-g-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
