This metal plate securely holds nuts and bolts in the jaw, allowing the user to position them where needed. Fastening on the thread can then be done quickly and safely, thanks to the innovative special limit-stop plate which holds the fastener. No longer is the thumb needed to act as a depth stop! Clever double-hex geometry provides a positive connection onto nuts and bolts. The combination of this geometry and a hardened gripping plate in the Joker's jaw, makes for a perfect fit - this prevents slipping off locked or broken nuts, even at higher torque.
