Review: Didn’t think this thing would last for the price I paid - I moved into a house and the pump stopped working. Bought this bad boy and haven’t had an issue since been a year and a half.
Review: GREAT Pump - PERIOD! - ***Almost a YEAR Update*** It is still going strong and it has been running A LOT this spring for irrigation as it has been abnormally dry in the SE this year. On average I have been running this system for 30 mins straight 2x a day and about 4-5 days a week for the past 3 months to get my yard in shape. My irrigation system is setup (GPM heads + 55psi pressure) so it keeps the pump running and I feel that this is key as short cycling is what will burn up pump motors. As long as the water is moving, the pump motor is staying cool. In each watering session I am running approximately 700 gal from a 150' well and this thing gets it done, while supplying domestic water to the house! I hope it continues to perform this well in the future and I would give it 7 stars up to this point! As mentioned before, INSTALLATION IS EVERYTHING! I spent the extra $$ to get good wire, 2" electrical tape for securing the good wire, good poly and stainless fittings so it would last. If you cheap out, the pump may not last. ****6 MONTH UPDATE 12/27/25****** IT IS STILL RUNNING STRONG!!!! I am still of the belief that if you take the time to do your research, and install this correctly, it will last you quite a long time. I had never installed a well pump before this, but yet I have re-plumbed my house with PEX and remodeled my house. Preparation is key to doing this install CORRECTLY and having the right tools to do so. I use the pump daily, for my house water needs, as well as, irrigating my lawn. The pump is easily putting out 15 to 17 GPM and it's not even breaking a sweat doing so. I am VERY happy with the money I saved and the many hours of research to install it correctly. INITIAL REVIEW: I finally got around to replacing my 38 year-old Wayne submersible well pump, needless to say it was very overdue and just a matter of time before it gave out. I did a whole lot of research in comparison of specs for many different brands and sizes of well pumps. I was looking to add capacity for an irrigation system in the near future and this seemed to check all the boxes that I needed. I had never attempted this before and read on to see how I learned to do this the "RIGHT WAY", there is only a right way to do it or it will not perform as expected. This think is a heavy BEAST, so I know it had a beefy copper motor in it. 1.) 1HP with an internal capacitor (not an external control box with the start capacitor). 2.) More than 10 gallons a minute that I was getting with my old pump. 3.) Ability to pump 150+ foot of head pressure. 4.) Solid (heavy and heavy-duty) reliable pump motor. 5.) 18GPM for irrigation purposes. This pump checked all the boxes and then some. I wish I would've taken more pictures during my install, because the install is a very critical part of installing a new well pump and having it last for years to come. I have reason to believe some of the bad reviews on this pump are because people do not do their due diligence to learn how to properly install it. Some of the key points to remember are to tape your wire to the pipe every 2 to 4 feet along the way to keeping it tight to the pipe so it won't chafe on the well walls. Also, I did not use a torque arrestor as when I pulled my old pump, It had disintegrated from the hard water over the years and can trap your pump if installed too close to it. I replaced ridgid schedule 80 PVC that was brittle with 160PSI black poly pipe. My other decision when choosing this pump was that I saw H2O Mechanic on YouTube do a review of one of these Vevor pumps and it performed better than expected. I learned a lot and watched many hours of his videos before attempting this myself. My well is 175 feet deep and produces a TON of water. I set this pump at 150 feet and I'm getting 20 gallons per minute with no issue whatsoever. I also bumped my pressure switch up to 75 pounds as I have all new pet, plumbing, pressure tank, and all the inter-connects are brand new as well. I decided for the price, what do I have to lose? So far, it has been down four months, and I have irrigated heavily with it, running for an hour at a time straight and not had any issues. if it dies, I may go with another brand, but you can't beat a one horsepower pump at this price point as it is an exceptional value as I saved over $400+ by not buying a brand name pump. I am sure somewhere along the lines, these may be the same OEM pumps that you see with the name brand on them selling for much more. So far, I have done at least 30 cycles running it for 1 hours straight for irrigating my yard. At this point, I am exceptionally pleased with this purchase, and I think you will be too. Just take your time, do your research and install it right or it cannot be expected to last.

## Features

- Enhanced Pump Flow & Head: Power: 1HP, 230V; Diameter: 4" (for 4" or bigger well casing); Discharge: 1-1/4" NPT. This deep well submersible pump is designed with 6-stage thermoplastic impellers, providing 37GPM max flow and 207 ft max head. It comes with a 33 ft electric cord, making life without modern plumbing a lot easier. Pump out your worries with ease and relax. No challenge is too big for you.
- Upgraded Stainless Steel: The whole frame of our deep well pump is unlike anything on the market. It is made of stainless steel, including the outlet and connecting components. You don't have to worry about it becoming rusted or corroded after being underwater for a long time. With IP68 waterproof grade, the pump can be used for 8-10 years. Stop wasting time! The perfect choice is in front of you!
- Reliable Copper Motor: Are you tired of previous submersible well pumps failing you? Are you ready for consistent satisfaction and quality? The powerful copper motor and high-precision rotor promise long-term stable running. The motor features built-in overheat protection, allowing it to automatically stop when stuck or during abnormal situations to prevent burning. NOTICE: DO NOT use it without water or at a low water level to avoid idle running.
- Trouble-free Check Valve & Filter: This well pump has a built-in check valve to prevent back-flow (an additional check valve is highly recommended). The stainless steel filtration mesh is designed to filter impurities. You can add a layer of gauze in front of the filtration inlet for a new drilled well that may contain excessive granular sediment. Keep impurities out without the headache.
- Use It Anywhere: Whether you want to solve water supply problems for industry, farmland, or home, this deep water well pump is the one you can trust. It works excellently as a garden water source and sprinkler for the kids. You can use the pump for extracting water from deep wells, reservoirs, canals, rivers, and other water-lifting works.
