It is good and very safe to try. **Q: How long can you keep using this product once opened?** A: I wondered about this too. I emailed Xlear to find out. Here is their answer: "If you are using the 1.5oz bottle, then there is a backflow preventor in the pump that does not allow anything to be pulled into the nozzle or bottle, so you are safe to use it until the bottle is empty, as the product should not go bad. Just please make sure to keep the nozzle clean after each use. If you are using the .75 oz squeeze bottle, then the nozzle doesn’t have a backflow preventor, and things from the nose can be pulled back into the bottle if you don’t pull the nozzle out of your nose before it inflates again. If you feel this may have happened while using, we would recommend throwing it out. If not, you can continue to use until empty.
