The brown colour is a very deepish brown that allows it to go with nearly every type of jeans. My only concern with this product is that scratches are highly visible on it, I've only had it for a few days - less than a week - and I can already see signs of wear. To test whether the scratches came from me or the shipping I scratched the product ever so lightly and saw marks. To avoid this scratches I suggest buying a belt that is a few inches bigger than your waist. I bought a 32-34"(?) belt and found that it was harder to fasten than previous belts I've worn.
