When it is time to replace the PH001 filter, simply take the reservoir out of the pitcher body and remove your old filter by gently twisting it and pushing from the bottom up. To prepare and insert a new PH001 filter, please follow these steps: 1.) Please fully saturate your filter, soaking it for 10 minutes. 2.) Run water through the filter for 10 seconds while giving it a few good shakes. 3.) Insert the filter into the reservoir: When inserting the PH001 filter into the reservoir, we always recommend putting the 001 filter in the reservoir while the reservoir is not in the body portion of the unit. Please then give the filters a good twist as you push in. Then we recommend grabbing the filter at the bottom of it and pulling it through, making everything as snug as possible. This will create a seal. You may want to hold the reservoir at eye level to get them in the correct way to see that they are even all the way around. Fill the reservoir a bit, over the sink, and you should be able to see if there is a leak around the filter. If so, pull the filter at that side a bit to correct. If you do it this way to see about the leaking, you will see that the water is going through the filter. 4.) You are now ready to go! Hope this helps! The latest version of our PH001 filter contains Zeolite. Zeolite is a 100% natural crystal that has been proven to effectively remove a high percentage of heavy metals, chloramines, chlorine, and fluoride from water. We have lab tested our PH001 filter using several water samples. The results show that a very high percentage of, but not all, things are removed. The materials used in our filters have been rigorously tested by authority bodies such as SGS and independent ISO 17025 labs, as well as our own in-house engineer driven lab testing facilities to ensure quality from the start. While we have lab results using water samples from a number of countries, we are still working on more third party lab testing to ensure any results that are published will be valuable to customers, and a good general guide as to what our filters can, and can't do. Long enough to say that I prefer the taste of water from this. I would not want to go back to normal tap water. I live in a hard water area anyway so anything is an improvement. I can definitely taste the difference. I have got used to changing them, soaking them rinsing them. I would really love them to be cheaper than the price I pay. I love the big filter jug holding 3 filters at a time. Holds so much water and I have got my son drinking from this. He is not keen on plain water but even he notices the difference. He has sensory issues and ASD, so it is hard to encourage him to drink. This has helped so much. I hope I can afford to keep buying these filters. I am very protective over my water jug and I don't like a single drop wasted from it. I look after it and maintain it well. I am glad I started using this invigorated water system. I just ask you please keep the price down and don't increase it anymore. I find it painful to buy this. Yes there are lots of other filter systems out there on the market. I even considered using some cheaper ones and inserting them inside the jug. I couldn't bring myself to do it, as I remember using a well known brand of filter and the taste of water was the same as tap water, not much difference. This I notice instantly. I can honestly say I am getting nothing for doing this review. I think more people would buy this if they knew how good the water tastes. The price puts people of and thats a fact. I will keep buying it for now and stick to it. I think the people that created this have come from an honest place of science and passion for healthy water.
