They could be practice jumps for competitio dogs. Would be OK for gerbils but you would need several of them. **Q: Is it possible to install a small gate in between two fences? Thanks** A: If you cut the bits off where they join together... It will swing backwards and forwards ... Then add a small bolt .. Hey presto ... In theory at least ..!!! **Q: Hi how tall are the panels without the spike?** A: They are brilliantly helpful at keeping my doggies off the garden! And as long as u secure them properly they. Are fabulous oh and they are 1- 1/2 ft in. Height hope. This helps  **Q: i bye some last week the problem is the spike r to soft thay bend when trying to put them in the ground other wise thay nice** A: Hello Lawrence - I am sorry you have experienced this; they are quite bendy, so I put mine in at the beginning of the year when the ground was softer following some rain. I did break one last week when I moved one, but the ground was quite hard!
