**Q: What's the difference between this game and the deluxe version?**
A: For those still wanting to find out...

The Skirmish Edition is a more simplified version. It's similar to world conquest in the original game. The idea being that you start out with evenly divided, random territories and you must take over the map - or as much of it as you can, before the end of game card is played.
The Deluxe Edition has more complicated gameplay, including more pieces (such as castles), more cards (such as characters granting special 'powers), a coin system and more complex rules.
Since we've purchased it, we've played the skirmish edition far more - it can easily take up a whole evening and is a lot of fun (if you don't mind families and friends being destroyed). If you have a lot more time and some more experienced risk players, the deluxe version is well worth the  investment!

**Q: Do you get 4 or 5 armies? I.e can it be played with 5 people or only 4? There is conflicting information in the item description?**
A: Just 4 armies (4players), if you want more armies i will recomend you take the delux

**Q: What's the difference between this and the deluxe risk**
A: The Deluxe risk (Dominion) has more houses and two maps.

**Q: How many players?**
A: 2 to 6 players

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Who'dve thought the original Risk could be improved upon???!!! Never!!! But yes, this is an amazing game!!!!

My son, was badgering me to get Risk as the family game for Christmas....I played avidly as a teen, and each game was always completely different from the last....imagine the delight on my son's face, when he unwrapped this!!! As a Game of Thrones geek, this ticked every box. We played on Boxing Day, and despite my 25 year hiatus from playing, I only went and WON!!! It's like the original, but better (whoever thought such a thing was possible!!) with the addition of several ports, one can now take over an area, reinforcing each port to it, and therefore use troops elsewhere on the board. We had a fabulous game, though my son was pretty miffed I beat him so succinctly... The only thing that could be said negatively about it, that I've run out of playing pieces at times, partly due to my inner Kalese and brilliance, and because there are not quite enough... but overall, amazing.... (we were real saddos, as we also had the Game of Thrones music playing throughout the game!!!)
