It has rubber protrusions on each corner to stop the keys touching and marking your screen.Connecting it to your iPad (or any other device with Bluetooth) is straightforward. Press the ‘connect’ button on the keyboard and then find the device in your Bluetooth settings – the same method as most Bluetooth devices.To use the keyboard, detach the iPad from the keyboard by gently pulling them apart to overpower the magnets and then place it in the slot just above the keys. There’s a lift out stand to prop it up with.The keyboard is very satisfying to use and has a good amount of travel with a positive feel each time a key is depressed. It’s far better than using the onscreen keyboard and I find I can touch-type as well as I can on a full-sized keyboard. Although it’s not full-size, the keys are plenty big enough and are spaced apart enough that you don’t accidentally hit two keys at the same time. It also has the same shortcut buttons you’d find on a much larger keyboard; these deal with screen brightness, copy and paste, browser shortcut, media playback and volume controls, as well as a button to lock and put the iPad into sleep mode – nothing is missed or compromised.I’m pleasantly surprised with the quality and, especially, the typing experience. If you’re fed up with the onscreen keyboard and want something much better, then this is for you. Once you try to use the ipad with a keyboard, there is no sense without it.First to say the installation is quite simple, just pair the keyboard is very straight forward. Then once connected, the easy type keys really allow fast typing without mistakes.The biggest advantage of having a keyboard connected is that you don't need anymore the on-screen keyboard, getting back almost 50% of your iPad screen usability. The magnetic clip is quick to use and perfectly fit the iPad for protection without adding much extra weight.It arrived very nicely packaged and protected.
