Review: Great for an electrolyte drink - Due to a medical condition I can get easily dehydrated. The hospital gave me a recipe for a homemade electrolyte drink which uses table salt but I never found this to be particularly good. I did sometimes get dehydrated and suffer with cramps. What I found worked well was Bulk Powders electrolyte powder instead of salt. When this was on offer I could get it for around £18 for 1kg but rarely on a decent offer and can be up to £50 for 1kg. Far too expensive for a product that is predominantly salt. Looking for an alternative that was cheaper I gave this Himalayan salt a try. I've been using this to make my electrolyte drink for around 3 weeks and had no issues at all. It works as well as the much more expensive Bulk Powders electrolyte powder at a fraction of the cost. Review: All round perfect salt - I use this salt for everything. As far as salts go, it does what a salt would do! It just looks pink and a lot more mild, so to get the same effect of a normal salt I normally add roughly 5-10 times as much as I would do with a normal salt. Good value for money, this lasts me personally around one year. More expensive to buy it from a supermarket. I don't really now if there are much benefits from it, as it's impossible for me to test it, but I just trust there are and for the price (buying this one pack that lasts me a year) I don't really care to be fair! ## Features - Himalayan salt contains 84 trace minerals. - This product is a fine grade salt and of the highest quality and purity, Suitable for Natural and Vegetarian - Potent detoxifier of heavy metals, delicious in foods, great for scrubs and baths - Great as a gift, in a bath, for cooking, fermenting vegetables, in a body scrub too as its so good for the skin as it accelerates healing! - Comes in 2 Pack of 500g Equal to 1 kg stand up pouch bags ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01I59W77G | | Best Sellers Rank | 10,036 in Grocery ( See Top 100 in Grocery ) 72 in Salt & Salt Substitutes | | Brand | PN Priddyfair Nutrition | | Brand Name | PN Priddyfair Nutrition | | Colour | Dark pink | | Container Type | Pouch | | Country of Origin | Pakistan | | Culinary Salt Type | Himalayan Pink Salt | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 2,145 Reviews | | Item Form | Salt | | Item Package Weight | 1.03 Kilograms | | Item Weight | 1 Kilograms | | Item weight | 1 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Priddyfair Nutrition | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Number of items | 1 | | Package weight | 1.03 Kilograms | | Part Number | PN-2 | | Sea Salt Variety | Himalayan | | Size | 1 kg (Pack of 1) | | Speciality | detox | | Specialty | detox | | UPC | 700461679288 | | Unit Count | 1000.0 gram | | Unit count | 1000.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Brand:** PN Priddyfair Nutrition - **Item weight:** 1 Kilograms - **Number of items:** 1 - **Speciality:** detox - **Unit count:** 1000.0 gram ## Images ![Fine Pink Himalayan Salt, Finest Natural Pure, Premium Quality 1kg Natural and unrefined by Priddyfair Nutrition - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71+GZr8wdtL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: is this edable** A: Yes it is edible.
