A light that keeps you safe by illuminating the darkest of corners at work or helps you to extend the day, so you can enjoy your passions and hobbies for longer. Whether lighting up the deepest of tunnels or for simply taking the dog for a walk, a Ledlenser light is the trusted companion of millions around the world. Lumens is one measure of brightness. However, not all lumens are created equal! We believe Ledlenser lumens are in most cases superior because they combine with our world-renowned precision German engineering and patented Advanced Focusing Optics to optimise the light delivered. Thus, in many cases a lower lumen Ledlenser light will deliver a brighter beam than other lights stating a higher lumen count. Many have tried to emulate this standout technology which is featured in most of our torches and headlamps, and many have failed. Our patented optics technology enables the user to seamlessly and instantaneously alter the light beam from flood (for near illumination) to spot (for distance illumination) whilst still delivering a clean uniform light with no dark spots Ledlenser is one of the world leaders in LED portable lighting. Whether working on a railway line, searching for a missing person up a mountain or accompanying you on an early morning run, it’s important to have a reliable light by your side. ## Features - PREMIUM DESIGN: Ledlenser LED hand held tactical torch features an easy grip casing along with aircraft grade aluminium, IP54 protects the light from water & dust, plus gold plated contacts provide corrosion resistance - ENDLESS BENEFITS: Advanced Focus System, reflector & lens combination creates intense spot (distance) or flawless flood (near) LED light, PTT torch features a luminous flux range of 220 meters - ADDITIONAL FEATURES: Ledlenser PPT LED super bright tactical torch benefits from built-in anti-roll protection, classic twist focusing & CREE Power LED Light - LONG LASTING BATTERY LIFE: Ledlenser PTT super bright LED torch will produce up to 25 hours of lighting with one charge, keeping light strong while you focus on the task at hand ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B00MNKA5PK | | Batteries Are Included | Yes | | Battery Description | Flashlight is powered by 3 AAA batteries or 3 AA batteries | | Battery Life | 25 Hours | | Battery Type | Alkaline | | Best Sellers Rank | 16,462 in DIY & Tools (See Top 100 in DIY & Tools) 152 in Standard Torches | | Brand Name | Ledlenser | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (619) 4.7 out of 5 stars | | Finish | Metallic | | Fixture Features | Water ingress resistant | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04029113980401 | | Included Components | Battery | | Item Dimensions D X W X H | 46D x 13W x 13H millimetres | | Item Dimensions L X W X H | 16L x 8W x 8H centimetres | | Item Highlight | up to 25h Runtime, Simple To Operate, 2 Modes, Water Resistant, Anti Roll, Inc Wrist Strap For Police, Security, Military | | Item Shape | Cylindrical | | Item Type Name | LED | | Item Weight | 132 Grams | | Light Output Maximum | 280 Lumens | | Light Path Distance | 220 Metres | | Light Source Special Features | Advanced Focus System Optics, Built-in Anti-roll Protection, Dynamic Switch Selection | | Manufacturer | Ledlenser | | Manufacturer Part Number | 9804 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | A manufacturer warranty period of 2 years which can be extended by a further 5 years with online registration. Is it rechargeable?** A: The Ledlenser TT police tactical torch that I bought was not described on the Amazon site as a re-chargeable torch when I bought it. It is not a re-chargeable torch and am not sure if Ledlenser actually make a re-chargeable version of this model torch. It’s a great little torch anyway, and if you are prepared to buy a non re-chargeable torch, I have had several and would highly recommend them. **Q: Whats the bit sticking out near the end ?** A: Its a rigid shape, so that you can place the torch on a horizontal surface and it doesn't roll. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional performance from such a tiny piece of equipment *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 17 June 2026* You will never regret purchasing this item, I first discovered them when I worked in the TV and Film industry, it was the best torch for its size and the battery longevity. Don’t be fooled by its size , it’s very bright , exceptional build quality , strong , it can be used as a spot or floodlight, with a simple twist/pull , I’ve dropped mine so many times , it just keeps going ….. I have quite a few , I keep one in the car , the van, my tool case , my backpack, they make excellent presents for friend or family, they even make special holders and clamps for bikes , rifles and rescues. You will find a lot of these in use by British police, and ambulance crews …. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small but mighty torch *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 10 June 2026* The sweet spot in the Ledlenser range, combines smallish size with more than adequate illumination power. I also own the p7 and p3 but this is my favourite torch. Use good batteries and it lasts a long time too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very durable….. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 28 September 2025* Super robust torch, ideal size to keep in pocket, ultra bright with two power settings and a twist to focus action that’s stiff to use but doesn’t easily move out of focus which I found helpful as the push pull focus system on my other Ledlensers does move easily. Durability is great as always , easy to register online for a 7 year guarantee. The serial number is printed on the outside shaft of the torch. Overall really pleased 👍 ## Frequently Bought Together - Ledlenser Police Tac Torch - PTT, x3 AAA Battery, Super Bright 280 Lumens, Lightweight, Long Distance Spotlight, Anti Roll Protection, Hiking, Dog Walking, Camping Torch, Up to 25 Hour Battery Life. - Duracell Plus AAA Batteries (12 Pack) - Alkaline 1.5V - Up To 100% Extra Life - Reliability For Everyday Devices - 0% Plastic Packaging - 10-Year Storage - LR03 MN2400 - Ledlenser P3 CORE - Premium Battery Operated LED Torch, 90lm IP54 Water Resistant Ultra-Compact, Lightweight LED Flashlight, Perfect Hiking, Camping Torch (Batteries Included) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/47986379-police-tac-torch-ptt-280lm-aaa-battery-powered-220m-beam](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/47986379-police-tac-torch-ptt-280lm-aaa-battery-powered-220m-beam) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
