Whilst the babies loved throwing the balls down the lava slide and going down the slide in the middle, the older children liked playing the hoop games that are included and knocking each other on the heads with the inflatables. With that in mind, it might not be as durable with the older children so you might not get your money's worth. My nephew's (4 year old) feet touch the ground whilst sat at the top of the slide. The Poole is too shallow to swim in for any age. Before I purchased mine I read previous reviews too that suggest the likelihood of punctures appears greater the older the children get so be prepared to maybe not get as many uses out of it. **Q: Could this be used in the sitting room? (I'd have loads of newspaper down to protect the new carpet)** A: Yes it could be used indoors. You could fill it with plastic balls rather than water and have a Dino ball pit! **Q: I can't get my hose connected to the sprayer, do I need to buy some kind of attachment?** A: Standard hosepipe fitting. **Q: What time of connector do you need to attach the hose?** A: Hi, Iā€™m not quite sure, but an adapter came with the product which seemes matching a few different sizes. It's bright and colourful and there are loads of things to keep them entertained for hours. We use it as a ball pool when it's cold and paddling pool when hot. The dinosaurs are not attached, so even when the pool is not set up, we play with the dinosaurs. Great value over the summer holidays instead of going to the pool and paying peak prices! My son was about 18 months when we got it.Downside is that it is very large, so takes about 20 mins with an electric pump to inflate, though lots of bits inflate separately so you wouldn't necessarily have to inflate it all. We kept it up all summer, which meant lots of moving off the grass and cleaning but it was worth it.Disappointingly my pool has developed a puncture in the slide, which I can't locate so we can't use it. I'm hopeful that I can fix it for next summer, as otherwise it will be expensive for the length of time we've used it!
