I didn't want to have to accept a lifetime of medication so did some reading up on my symptoms in search of a natural cure - and found people using this. One of my problems was undigested food and so I did a simple recommended stomach avid test with bicarbonate of soda (you can Google this) & found I did seem to have all the syptoms of low stomach acid so decided to dive right in and try this. I started with 1 tablet and worked my way up to 3 with each protein meal. I have a cupboard full of prescription drugs the GP gave me for IBS but I have so far not taken them. It is early days yet but this, couple with a high dose prebiotic and some dietary adjustments is beginning to relieve me of my symptoms. I'm not sure yet whether I'm on my maximum dose but I no longer have loose stools or urgency after eating trigger foods (not sure what these are yet!) I still have some rumblings and stomach ache, so I am not cured but feel sure I'm on the right track with this.
